Prayer Requests


  • Please pray for Rebecca Watnes, she will be meeting with an oncologist to determine type of chemo treatment. (Mother is Linda Watnes)
  • Please pray for Andy Knight (cousin to Gretchen Dexter). He has been diagnosed with lung cancer that has already metastasized to his bones. It’s not curable, and chemo has been started to try to give him a little more time. He is in his 40’s and has a 9 year-old son. He is not a Christian.
  • Pray for Brent Williams, he had surgery to remove a finger and have some skin grafting done. 
  • Becky Chapman: Please pray for Stacy in her search for a new job and also for Drew and his mental health needs.
  • Denise Bittinger: Please pray for my sister who recently had surgery and is starting chemo for breast cancer and also for her husband who recently finished chemo/radiation and will be having surgery for colon cancer in the coming weeks as well.
  • Linda Clark: Please pray for Eli Garza. He has bladder cancer and lung cancer and will be starting Chemo and Radiation, Pray for his wife and family.
  • Pamela Sullivan: My son Jonathan's court charge was NOT dropped but has been continued again into November. Extra prayers that HIS mercy be reflected through the judge and lead Prosecutor!
  • Linda Kunze started chemo and would covet prayers for complete healing.
  • Carroll Voigt: One of our former pastors, Rev. James Tharp, has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Dementia and is having to curtail his involvement in Christian Renewal, Inc. and other preaching and teaching activities. Please pray for him and his wife, Shirley, and other family members as they try to meet his needs.
  • Mary Webster in Wales, UK - please pray for her failing health.
  • Brent Williams - Please pray for continued healing.


Praise Reports

  • Jane Hempel: Praising the Lord I was able to attend church virtually even though I wasn't able to be there physically!
  • Pamela Sullivan: Praising the Lord that my son Brian's health condition is treatable and he will be able to heal!!
  • Brittany Page, Mark and Karen Spangler’s daughter, was diagnosed with liver cancer and the dr’s determined that a liver transplant was needed.  Well…after prayer and petitioning the Dr.‘s can no longer find any cancer! PRAISE THE LORD!!!
  • Sandi Schulz: Praise the Lord, I survived my hip replacement surgery. Thank you for all of your prayers and concern, and pray that I continue to do well.
  • Sue Chandler has been healed! After 6 months of cancer testing, needle biopsy, surgery to obtain a tumor sample, and 15 days of lab testing the doctors are surprised because they can no longer find any cancer!! We know the answer. Praise God for answers to prayer for her healing!
  • Jane Hempel - Her legs are getting stronger and feeling is back in her feet! Thank you Jesus!!!!
  • Ginny Alexander - I want to praise God for his healing touch on my brother, Glenn Jones. The cancer is gone from his lungs and throat for now. He is still having breathing problems and needs continued prayers for his complete healing.

SEVEN PRAYER POINTS

1. GIVE PRAISE AND ADORATION TO GOD
1 Chronicles 29:10-13 (NLT2)  
 Then David praised the LORD in the presence of the whole assembly: “O  LORD, the God of our ancestor Israel, may you be praised forever and ever!  
  Yours, O  LORD, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O  LORD, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things.  
  Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength.  
  “O  our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name!  

2. SEEK THE LORD FOR PERSONAL HOLINESS
Hebrews 12:14 (NLT2)  
 Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.  

3. PRAY FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT KNOW CHRIST AS SAVIOR
Acts 26:18 (NLT2)  
The Lord said,…  to open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God’s people, who are set apart by faith in Me.  

4. PRAY FOR THOSE WHO NEED HEALING, ARE FACING TRIALS OR DIFFICULTIES
James 5:14-16 (NLT2)  
 Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord.  
 Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.  
 Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.  

5. PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH.  FOR GOD’S PURPOSE & DIRECTION IN UNITY, MISSION AND MINISTRY.
1 Thessalonians 1:2-4 (NLT2)  
 We always thank God for all of you and pray for you constantly.  
 As we pray to our God and Father about you, we think of your faithful work, your loving deeds, and the enduring hope you have because of our Lord Jesus Christ.  
 We know, dear brothers and sisters, that God loves you and has chosen you to be his own people.  

6. PRAY FOR THE WORLDWIDE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST.   FOR GOD’S POWER AND PRESENCE TO PREVAIL  FOR UNITY AND PEACE AMONG THE BELIEVERS.
 Ephesians 6:18 (NLT2)  
  Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.  

7. PRAY FOR OUR COMMUNITIES, CITY, AND NATION, FOR GOD’S HELP AND DIRECTION.  FOR GOVERNMENT LEADERS, UPCOMING ELECTION.  
II Chronicles 7:14-15 (NLT2)  
 Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.
 My eyes will be open and my ears attentive to every prayer made in this place.
