Early Childh
We look forward to having your child in our care. Your child is important to us and we want to assure you of their safety and security. We have established the following procedures
to assure the most safe and secure environment.
Early Childhood Workers
Workers
background checks are required prior to acceptance as a worker
only workers are allowed beyond the doors to the department
Tours
You are welcome to tour our Early Childhood area when the facilities are empty (before children arrive or after they are dismissed). Please make arrangements at the sign-in counter.
Food allergies
Parents need to notify workers of any allergies or medical problems they might have
Child's Arrival
On your child's first visit to the Early Childhood Department
(initial visit only)
· If you wish to have someone else pick up your child after services, please let the workers know.
· Name tag will be prepared and affixed to the child's clothing
You will receive a corresponding tag with the same number.
· All of the child's personal items will be marked with his/her name
(tape provided if not marked in advance)
Babies under 1 year of age:
During Child's Stay
· You will be offered a pager which will vibrate if need arises
(ie child is upset and workers cannot calm him/her within 10 minutes)
Child's Departure
· Pick up your child promptly after service/Sunday school class.
